rest in peace, red frames. my vision aid from 2006 til january 2012. i’ve had replacement options since then but they never felt like “the one” as idiotic as that may sound, in relation to a pair of glasses. i spent this week trying to hunt down a pair that would even resemble this one, but alas, close with no cigar. they’re either too fat, too skinny, too boxy, too round, too everything in between. insert deep sigh. still on the hunt in hopes a perfectly similar one isn’t out of reach, but did cop a new pair today. not walking around the tents of nyfw next week with a beater pair. that, and i broke the replacement and the replacement of the replacement in a span of 8 months. kinda need to see, y’all. tape and superglue are only getting me so far. hashtag: clumsy comes with a price tag. anyone else understand my devastation?
