kumato (brown) tomato salad with chopped basil, parsley, capers, anchovy fillets, garlic, ground black pepper, balsamic vinegar (reduced), olive oil.
summoning the sweet tooth by helping chris make these @ the mohawk. the boys didn’t know what a double boiler was. they would have burned this chocolate.
obsession with making salsas. obsession with tomatoes in general.
add mangoes. mango salsa. easy peasy.
and under this particular one, it lists all the ingredients and then under the directions section there are no numbered steps, it simply says “mix it all together.”
well no shit, sherlock. that’s no help.
stuck at home, rummaged through the fridge for something to cook… this type of weather called for a lunch of hearty chucks of meat and mushrooms.
the scenario: it’s nearly 2am, craving something, but not snack food. at first glance, seems like there’s no food to cook. at this point, you’re thinking you’ll just go to bed and sleep the ‘hunger’ off.
but no, forget it. really, you need to eat.

still some rosemary, garlic and a few pieces of portobello mushrooms left. nice.

ah yes, the truffle olive oil i bought last week! and like a fat-ass i added butter to this mix.
